LABART RESTAURANT CELEBRATES ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

The Gold Coast’s top chefs join forces to celebrate one year of Restaurant Labart

It’s been a year since Sydney chef Alex Munoz Labart and his wife Karla unveiled their flagship Burleigh Heads dining space. Restaurant Labart’s refined-yet-convivial atmosphere takes a refreshing step away from fine-dining formality – and Gold Coasters are loving every bite. On Sunday July 21, Labart is celebrating its first birthday by bringing together the city’s top chefs for a one-off lunch event. Tickets are selling like hotcakes, so be quick!

Update! The first release has now sold out. If you’re on the waiting list, keep your eyes on Labart’s Instagram page for an announcement about a second release of seats.

To celebrate one year of Labart, Alex and Karla have invited a series of local guest chefs into their kitchen to give diners the ultimate collaborative experience. The one-off event will offer a special set menu – each chef will cook one dish, and the Labart team will swoop in at the end with the dessert course.

Gold Coast favourites The North RoomJimmy Wah’sLupoIku Yakitori BarRick Shores and The Fish House (what a line-up!) will each be dishing up goodness from the Labart kitchen on the day. The multi-course menu is being kept under wraps until then – though, you can expect a mix of familiar favourites (*cough* bone-marrow crumpets from The North Room) as well some brand-new creations. Okay, you know what to do – clear your diaries, get the day off work, round-up the babysitters, do whatever you’ve got to do to free yourself for lunch on Sunday July 21.

Tickets are $85 per person (food only – drinks are purchased separately on the day). For bookings, jump to the reservations page of the Labart website.
